About The Money Villain

Who Venny is. What this is. Why it exists.

Meet Venny Venture

Venny Venture is an AI-generated character created by Huntora. The character is a caricature of an 80s Wall Street power-broker who spent his career designing the credit card products that keep people trapped in debt — and now can't shut up about it.

Venny is fictional. The financial information he shares is real, sourced from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Federal Reserve, myFICO, and academic consumer behavior research. We just dress it in a pinstripe suit.

What This Site Is

themoneyvillain.com is a content platform that teaches personal finance through the lens of a villain-turned-whistleblower. We think financial education is more watchable — and more honest — when it's delivered by someone who's willing to admit the game is rigged.

Why We Use a Character

Because nobody reads a 2,000-word article on credit card APR math. But they'll watch a 45-second video of a slicked-back Wall Street villain explaining why your bank is counting on you being one day late.

The medium is the message. Short-form video on TikTok and Instagram reaches people who need this information but won't read a NerdWallet article. Venny gets them in. The education gets them out of debt.

Who's Behind It

The Money Villain is operated by Huntora, a content and marketing studio based in North Carolina, USA. Founder: Jacob Jones.

How We Make Money

When you click a product recommendation (a credit card, a finance app, a monitoring service) and sign up, we may earn a commission from that retailer. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't take sponsorships from brands we wouldn't recommend anyway.
